If you are authentic thai food, this is the place. The price is fair, but the taste is good. White tomyam is good. My favourite place compared to others nearby

If you're a fan of classic Thai flavors, this place is a must-try. Kepala Batas has plenty of Thai eateries, but this one truly hit the spot for me. Let’s start with the star of the show: the lemon-steamed sea bass. It was flavorful, balanced, and so good I nearly licked the plate clean (only the bones remained!). The fish was fresh, with firm yet tender flesh, and even the skin was delicious. Pair it with the squid fritters, which were crispy and satisfying, and you’ve got a winning combo. The salted fish kailan was another highlight, well-balanced and tasty without being overpowering. For drinks, I went with the apple asam boi (zero sugar), which was refreshingly tangy and a great palate cleanser. Dessert? Oh yes. The glutinous rice with mango was the perfect sweet ending to a flavorful dinner. Creamy, fragrant, and just the right amount of indulgence. The ambiance at night is cozy and comfortable, with plenty of fans to keep things breezy and designated hand-washing stations (a thoughtful touch!). The place is clean, tidy, and brightly lit. So you can dine with peace of mind knowing your food is fresh and hygienic. Bonus points for the spotless floor, which sets it apart from some of the more typical tomyam joints. It’s definitely a great spot to treat your friends to Thai cuisine. However, a small caveat: the price is on the higher side. For the menu we ordered (as shown in the picture), I paid around RM74. Honestly, I could get the same dishes, same quality, and same satisfaction for less in Putrajaya. Considering the cost of living in Kepala Batas is lower, the pricing here feels a bit steep. Still, if you're after quality and a pleasant dining experience, this place delivers. Just a little price tweak, and it would be perfect.

I chose this restaurant after scrolling the reviews online. My points: 1. Very nice owner. 2. Hassle free booking by 1 phone call - no deposit required. 3. Pre-ordered 2 sets for dinner (for 9 pax) - very reasonable price. 4. The tables were ready when we arrived. 5. Food was ready and still hot when served. 6. Service was prompt - added in 1 more dish & rice. 7. The only drawback for me - there were no fans since the tables were set outside the premise. Otherwise, excellent.
